Presidio, Inc. is seeking an AWS Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to expand our solutions team.

You will blend hands-on solution design with people leadership, focusing on standardizing best practices and delivering high-quality AWS-based solutions tailored to client environments. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in relevant roles, strong AWS expertise, and proven ability to translate complex cloud architectures into compelling business value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years in solutions architecture, pre-sales, or delivery.
• 3+ years delivering consulting/advisory services (IT strategy, placement, Cloud Governance).
• Deep AWS expertise across EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, EKS/ECS; IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53.
• Strong executive presence and ability to translate technical AWS into business value.
• Experience with multi-account, multi-region AWS architectures and cost modeling.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, serverless and event-driven patterns on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop client-facing deliverables: high-level summaries, proposals, staffing models, SOWs, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Lead scoping of workshops; assess and migrate on-premises apps/data centers to AWS.
• Design robust cloud security, IAM, and regulatory-compliant architectures.
• Drive IaC to build automated CI/CD pipelines using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Act as SME and manage sales cycle from requirements to delivery handoff.
