Job summary

Resolve Tech Solutions in Houston is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect with deep AWS expertise to translate complex requirements into scalable enterprise solutions. You will lead architecture across cloud and on-premises boundaries and collaborate with security, DevOps, and business stakeholders to define strategic direction.

You will drive modernization efforts, design resilient architectures, and mentor engineers to ensure implementations meet security, reliability, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, cloud architecture, solution architecture, or related technology roles.
• 3+ years of experience serving as a Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar senior technical role.
• Deep hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and security services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automated cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of complex, enterprise-scale solutions with a strong focus on AWS cloud technologies.
• Translate business, functional, and technical requirements into scalable and maintainable solution architectures.
• Design highly available, resilient, secure, and cost-effective AWS architectures.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle from discovery to production deployment.
• Develop architecture diagrams, solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
• Evaluate existing applications and infrastructure and propose cloud modernization, migration, and optimization strategies.
• Define and promote cloud architecture standards, design patterns, and reference architectures.
• Mentor engineers and architects and provide guidance on complex implementation challenges.
