Job summary

Early Warning in the U.S. payments space seeks a hands-on technical leader to set engineering standards across multiple teams. You will partner with product management to align roadmaps, design robust architectures, and mentor engineers.

You will drive cloud and containerization strategies, implement CI/CD and automated testing, and ensure secure, scalable solutions for FinTech products. Strong communication and leadership are essential in this high-impact role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.
• Fifteen+ years designing and developing complex software, with at least eight years in FinTech.
• 1-2 years of experience implementing cloud solutions with containerization, CI/CD, automated testing, and security guidelines.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to create technical solutions.
• Effective communicator with strong public speaking skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Partners with product management to craft product strategy, create descriptions and align to technology roadmaps.
• Be a thought leader: senior expertise on software engineering issues and industry trends; coach and mentor team members.
• Takes ownership for technical product design and architecture.
• Creates and conducts presentations for small-to-medium size groups.
• Works closely with customers to understand needs and build partnerships for better Early Warning products.
• Partners with software engineering, product, and architecture to shape engineering approaches and share knowledge.
• Develop, scope and shape a departmental-wide technical vision for the future.
• Design/Engineer product/service solutions aligned with cloud, containerization, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Collaborate and build relationships cross-functionally to influence and motivate others; drive change management.
• Support risk management and data integrity commitments.
