Job summary

The Jupiter Group, Inc is seeking a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer with strong AWS architecture experience. You will design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure for AI, data science, and application workloads.

You will move non-essential data and workloads from on-prem Kubernetes to AWS, and drive automation with IaC, SaC, and CI/CD practices. You will design and operate CI/CD pipelines, manage Kubernetes environments, and collaborate with data engineering teams to deliver

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps, platform, or cloud engineering.
• Strong AWS architecture experience and on-prem Kubernetes integration.
• Experience with IaC, security/policy-as-code, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS architectures for data/AI workloads.
• Lead migration of data/workloads from on-prem to AWS.
• Build hybrid connectivity and data pipelines (Direct Connect/VPN, S3, DataSync).
• Partner with data engineering/science teams for self-service platform capabilities.
• Develop and maintain IaC and embed security controls via SaC.
• Design/operate CI/CD pipelines for infra, data, and apps.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments (on-prem/EKS).
• Establish monitoring, logging, and incident response practices.
• Document architecture decisions and mentor juniors.
