Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure for AI, Data Science, and application workloads. You will automate pipelines, enforce security policies, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Required are 5+ years in AWS, IaC, Kubernetes, Linux, and CI/CD tooling; AWS certification preferred. This on-site role involves collaboration with Platform, DataOps, and DevOps teams and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years AWS DevOps/Platform engineering
• 5+ years IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation
• 5+ years Kubernetes & container orchestration
• 5+ years scripting with Python/Bash
• 5+ years Linux/Unix experience
• 5+ years code repositories (GitHub/GitLab/ADO)
• 3+ years CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins)
• Strong cloud networking and security understanding
• AWS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain IaC across multi-account AWS environments.
• Build, improve and shift-left CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate security/compliance at resource level.
• Support deployment automation for containerized data platforms.
• Mentor mid-level/junior engineers.
