About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Platform Architect to design, build, and optimize enterprise-level cloud platforms on AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud architecture, DevOps, automation, and modern application frameworks, with the ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures and solutions on AWS for enterprise applications and platforms.
• Define cloud strategy, architecture standards, and best practices to enable modernization and migration.
• Lead end-to-end cloud solution design including compute, storage, networking, IAM, security, and monitoring.
• Architect and oversee deployment pipelines (CI/CD) with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Ensure compliance, governance, security, and operational best practices across AWS workloads.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (development, DevOps, security, and business stakeholders) to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Conduct cost optimization and performance tuning of AWS resources.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams on AWS technologies and architectural patterns.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in cloud architecture (AWS).
• Strong expertise in AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, ECS, CloudFront, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).
• Experience in cloud cost optimization, scaling strategies, and resilience design.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (preferred) or Associate.
• Experience with AI/ML, Data Analytics, or Generative AI workloads on AWS is a plus.
• Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
• Background in Agile/DevOps methodologies.
