Job summary

Capacity is seeking a senior cloud infrastructure engineer to own the cloud foundation on AWS. You will design and scale our multi-account AWS environment, manage Kubernetes (EKS), and drive cost optimization while mentoring other engineers.

You will collaborate with DevOps, Security, and product teams to raise the bar for reliability and security. The role emphasizes IaC, Terraform/Terragrunt, and observability with Datadog, plus a remote-friendly, collaborative culture that values ownership

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering.
• AWS with networking, compute, storage, and IAM experience.
• Production Kubernetes experience (EKS preferred).
• Strong Terraform and IaC management at scale.
• GitOps tooling and CI/CD in GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve Capacity’s cloud platform on AWS across a multi-account setup.
• Operate and scale Kubernetes (EKS), ingress, service mesh, and autoscaling.
• Write IaC with Terraform/Terragrunt and enforce standards.
• Design network architecture, VPCs, DNS, and VPNs.
• Mentor engineers and partner with DevOps and Security.
