Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering/DevOps professional to configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and enforce access controls across complex software delivery environments.

You will work on a highly secure AWS platform supporting regulated healthcare payment systems, using Terraform for IaC, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, auditable deployments in multi-region architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in cloud, infrastructure, or solutions engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, IAM, Route 53, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Proven experience with Terraform, including module development, state management, and debugging.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines including build, scan, approval, and deployment workflows.
• Experience with cloud security practices, vulnerability remediation, and compliance controls.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
• Understanding of networking, load balancing, and application connectivity in AWS environments.
• Experience working across multi-environment deployments (Dev, Test, Prod).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and application deployment layers.
• Ability to work in Agile delivery models and manage concurrent priorities.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work across engineering and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Configures and maintains CI/CD services and validates access control across the software development lifecycle.
• Reviews configurations of application servers to ensure onboarding prerequisites are met.
• Monitors and responds to CI/CD KPI alerts and escalated issues, producing action plans for stakeholders.
• Mentors and clarifies DevOps practices for Engineers.
• Collaborates with Infrastructure, Solutions Engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers on changes to monitoring and alerting.
• Responds to risk or audit identified issues with compliance controls and change management processes.
• Executes change tickets for CI/CD onboarding and decommissioning.
• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
• Develop and support secure CI/CD pipelines with validation, scanning, and gates.
• Implement cloud architecture patterns including high availability and multi-region designs.
• Support platform governance, ensuring repeatable deployments and auditability.
• Onboard and migrate workloads to cloud infrastructure with application teams.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost.
