Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced AWS Security professional to design and deliver security strategy, architecture, and operations engagements for clients in the United States. You will assess environments, build roadmaps, and translate risk into business recommendations for executive stakeholders.

Lead workshops, drive security posture, and mentor junior practitioners while collaborating across internal and client teams to deliver secure, compliant cloud solutions on AWS.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing, implementing, or operating AWS security controls.
• 7+ years IAM experience incl. roles, policies, federation, least privilege.
• 7+ years AWS network security: VPC, SGs, NACLs, WAF, etc.
• 7+ years security monitoring and threat detection (CloudTrail, GuardDuty, etc).
• Experience encrypting data and key management.
• Experience aligning architectures with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, etc).
• 7+ years leading cloud security projects using PM principles.
• 7+ years producing technical docs and executive recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of AWS security strategy, architecture, implementation, and operations engagements for clients.
• Assess AWS environments and develop security roadmaps aligned with business objectives, risk tolerance, and regulatory requirements.
• Design secure AWS landing zones and multi-account environments using AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and Security Hub.
• Define and implement IAM controls using IAM, Identity Center, permissions boundaries, SCPs, and least-privilege.
• Design AWS network security architectures using VPCs, security groups, NACLs, Network Firewall, WAF, and connectivity services.
• Develop data protection solutions using KMS, CloudHSM, encryption, secrets management, data classification, and secure key-management.
• Establish cloud security monitoring, logging, threat detection, and incident response using CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Detective, Config, CloudWatch.
• Lead cloud security posture management, vulnerability management, and remediation across AWS workloads.
• Translate AWS security risks into clear business recommendations for executives.
• Map AWS controls to frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and Well-Architected.
• Lead client workshops, security assessments, architecture reviews, and executive presentations.
• Drive business development, proposal creation, solution shaping, and client relationships for AWS Security.
• Coach and develop junior practitioners; contribute assets and thought leadership.
• Deliver services per Accenture quality standards and collaborate across teams.
