Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced AWS Security professional to design and deliver cloud security solutions across client environments in the US. You will architect secure AWS landscapes, implement IAM and network protections, and lead security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response practices.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on AWS security experience, ability to communicate with executives, and collaboration across teams. Travel may be required; a Bachelor's degree is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, implementing, or operating security controls in AWS.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS IAM, roles, policies, federation, least privilege, and multi-account governance.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS network security (VPC, SGs, NACLs, WAF).
• 3+ years of experience with AWS security monitoring & threat detection (CloudTrail, Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty).
• Experience securing data with encryption, key management, and secrets management.
• Experience mapping AWS controls to regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• 3+ years leading cloud security projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of AWS security strategy, architecture, and operations engagements for clients.
• Assess AWS environments and build security roadmaps aligned with objectives and regulations.
• Design secure landing zones and multi-account environments using AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
• Define IAM controls and least-privilege practices across accounts.
• Develop data protection and key-management solutions within AWS.
• Establish Cloud security monitoring, logging, and incident response capabilities.
• Lead posture management, vulnerability remediation across AWS workloads.
• Translate security risks into executive-level business recommendations.
• Map controls to applicable frameworks and standards.
