Job summary

Accenture is seeking an AWS Security Architect to lead design, implementation, and governance of cloud security strategies across client environments in the Atlanta area. You will drive secure architecture, IAM controls, network security, and data protection while coordinating with executives and delivery teams.

Discipline includes threat detection, incident response, and security posture management, with opportunities to shape proposals and mentor junior practitioners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years designing/operating security controls in AWS.
• Minimum 7 years IAM design, federation, least privilege, multi-account governance.
• Minimum 7 years AWS network security experience (VPC, SGs, NACLs, WAF).
• Minimum 7 years security monitoring and threat detection (CloudTrail, Config, GuardDuty, etc).
• Experience with encryption, key management, secrets management, vulnerability management.
• Experience aligning architectures with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Minimum 7 years leading cloud security projects, using PM practices.
• Minimum 7 years producing technical docs and executive recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of AWS security strategy, architecture, implementation, and operations.
• Assess AWS environments and develop security roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Design secure AWS landing zones and multi-account environments.
• Define IAM controls and least-privilege principles.
• Design AWS network security architectures using VPC, SGs, NACLs, WAF, and related services.
• Develop data protection solutions including encryption and key management.
• Establish cloud security monitoring, logging, and incident response capabilities.
• Lead cloud security posture management and remediation across workloads.
• Translate security risks into business recommendations for executives.
• Map security controls to NIST, ISO 27001, CIS benchmarks, etc.
• Lead client workshops, assessments, architecture reviews, and executive presentations.
• Drive business development and client relationship activities for AWS Security.
• Coach junior practitioners and contribute reusable assets.
