Job summary

Accenture is seeking an AWS Security Architect to design, implement, and operate security controls across AWS environments. You will define IAM, network security, data protection, and monitoring strategies while guiding multi‑account governance and cloud security roadmaps.

You will lead client workshops, security assessments, and executive briefings, translating technical risk into business terms and ensuring alignment with frameworks and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years hands-on AWS security experience.
• Experience with IAM, multi-account governance and least-privilege.
• Experience with AWS network security (VPC, SGs, NACLs, WAF).
• Experience with security monitoring services (CloudTrail, Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Detective, CloudWatch).
• Ability to map security controls to frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
• Experience leading cloud security projects using standard PM principles.
• Experience producing technical docs and exec-level recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of AWS security strategy, architecture, implementation and operations engagements.
• Assess AWS environments and develop security roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Design secure landing zones and multi-account environments using AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
• Define IAM controls and least-privilege policies across accounts.
• Design network security architectures using VPCs, security groups, NACLs and WAF.
• Develop data protection solutions with KMS/CloudHSM and encryption.
• Establish monitoring and incident response using CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Detective, CloudWatch.
• Lead cloud security posture management and remediation across AWS workloads.
• Translate risks into business recommendations for executives.
• Map controls to frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Lead client workshops and security assessments; support BD and proposals.
• Coach junior practitioners and share reusable assets.
