Custom Software Systems, Inc. (CSS) seeks a Senior Cloud Security Specialist (AWS) to lead security engineering for cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments. You will assess risks, implement controls, and drive best practices across the enterprise.

The role requires hands-on AWS security expertise, federal cybersecurity familiarity, and collaboration with architects and engineers to enable secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in cybersecurity with cloud security and risk management.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on AWS security experience.
• Federal cybersecurity requirements knowledge (NIST, FISMA etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security reviews of cloud infrastructure.
• Evaluate infrastructure-as-code against security standards.
• Assess compliance with security policies and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain security posture dashboards.
• Provide security guidance to engineering teams.
