Job summary

System One is seeking an AWS Cloud Security Architect to lead security design across enterprise applications, AWS cloud environments, and hybrid infrastructures. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to build secure, scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes threat modeling, risk assessments, and implementation of guardrails aligned with NIST, FedRAMP, and FIPS. A strong AWS background and security certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience with cybersecurity and cloud security.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity architecture roles.
• 5+ years hands-on AWS cloud security experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security services, IAM, networking, logging and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide security architecture guidance for AWS and hybrid environments.
• Partner with engineering teams to securely migrate workloads to AWS and other clouds.
• Define and maintain cloud security patterns, guardrails and reference architectures.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for cloud-native, API, container, and AI solutions.
• Define security controls and remediation for identified gaps.
• Support secure AI/GenAI adoption, including governance and data protection.
