Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Cloud Engineer (AWS) to support documentation and engineering, security, and operations for a large federal agency. The ideal candidate will possess strong cloud computing fundamentals across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS and hands-on AWS experience.

You will design flexible, scalable solutions, help develop the necessary documentation, and ensure production readiness while maintaining security controls throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of IT experience supporting federal agencies.
• Hands-on design/implementation of distributed applications.
• Experience with AWS and cloud migration concepts.
• Ability to design cloud-based solutions meeting security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions that maximize flexibility and security.
• Develop documentation to support engineering, security, and operations.
• Perform business/technical analyses to aid decision-making.
