Job summary

CGS (Contact Government Services) is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to support documentation, engineering, security, and operational processes for a large federal agency. The role requires strong cloud expertise across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, with emphasis on scalable, secure solutions and production readiness.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of federal IT experience, hands-on AWS work, and a proven ability to design and deliver large-scale cloud deployments, including migration considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
• 4–7 years IT experience supporting federal government agencies.
• 4+ years designing/implementing distributed applications with strong architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions that are flexible, scalable, and secure.
• Support documentation for engineering, security, and operations.
• Perform business/technical analysis to aid customer decisions.
• Facilitate transition of solutions to operations and ensure ongoing operation within limits.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS and implement cloud solutions.
