Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is assisting in recruiting an Assistant Vice President for Insurance Operations & Distribution Strategy. The AVP will support agent distribution channels, product initiatives, shareholder communications, and strategic growth.

This role demands cross-functional leadership and strong executive communication in a fast-paced life insurance environment. The position reports to senior leadership and partners with underwriting, actuarial, and operations to drive product launches

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the life insurance industry.
• Background in life insurance operations, administration, distribution, marketing operations, or executive leadership.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with independent agents, agencies, financial advisors, and field leaders.
• Support agent recruitment, engagement, retention, and communication initiatives.
• Collaborate with distribution partners to identify growth opportunities and improve field performance.
• Monitor business performance, distribution metrics, and operational KPIs.
• Analyze production, persistency, claims, placement, and growth trends.
• Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
• Partner with underwriting, actuarial, operations, and leadership teams for product development initiatives.
• Assist with product launches and market expansion efforts.
• Research industry trends and competitive opportunities.
• Develop communications and presentations for policyholders and investors.
• Support shareholder relations activities and investor inquiries.
• Ensure communications align with regulatory and compliance standards.
• Collaborate across operations, finance, compliance, legal, underwriting, and customer service teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
