Job summary

Indigo Technologies is seeking an Associate Vice President of Facilities Underwriting for a remote role. You will help shape a modern, data-driven underwriting approach while collaborating with cross-functional teams and brokers.

Reporting to the CUO, you will oversee underwriting staff, policies, and processes to write profitable business, manage submissions, renewals, and changes, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Senior Underwriter in Facilities/Medical Professional Liability.
• Strong familiarity with facility types and rating methodologies.
• Knowledge of top carriers and large brokers.
• Ability to operate with urgency and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with state regulatory requirements.
• Production underwriting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with CUO and teams to build Indigo’s Facilities underwriting offering.
• Support pricing, control, and servicing of policies; develop scalable underwriting process.
• Analyze and uphold underwriting guidelines and decisions.
• Manage new business submissions, renewals, and policy changes.
• Review contract wordings and act as signatory of insurance contracts.
• Review loss activity and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with business development to manage broker relationships.
• Apply data-driven insights to improve underwriting.
