Job summary

ACBSP is seeking a senior leader for Accreditation Operations to drive the internal management, coordination, and continuous improvement of its accreditation processes and team operations from its Overland Park, KS headquarters.

The role reports to the Chief Accreditation Officer and focuses on rebuilding and professionalizing accreditation operations, establishing clear processes, and enhancing staff performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years in accreditation or higher education administration with progression into leadership.
• Demonstrated knowledge of accreditation processes, standards, and quality assurance frameworks.
• Experience with business education accreditation (ACBSP, AACSB, IACBE, or similar) preferred; broader higher education accreditation acceptable.
• Proven experience leading, supervising, and developing professional teams with accountability and growth.
• Experience documenting and improving operational processes and workflows.
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple accreditation timelines and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey accreditation requirements clearly.
• Commitment to member service and translating complex accreditation requirements into accessible guidance.
• Proficiency with accreditation management systems and databases; Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Professional demeanor to represent ACBSP with credibility among members, evaluators, commissioners, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal management, coordination, and continuous improvement of accreditation processes and team operations.
• Collaborate with accreditation staff, evaluators, commissioners to deliver high-quality, member-focused accreditation experiences.
• Rebuild and professionalize accreditation operations by establishing clear processes and improving staff performance and accountability.
• Develop growth trajectory to assume internal leadership of the accreditation team over time.
• Report to the Chief Accreditation Officer and supervise the accreditation team, coordinating with President & CEO and other departments.
