Job summary

Liquid Church is seeking a senior, hands-on AVL Systems Engineer to own the health, performance, and long-term reliability of our AVL infrastructure across campuses. You will design, deploy, and maintain systems for services and events, while leading weekend support to ensure consistent excellence in every space.

You will troubleshoot quickly, document signal flows and rack layouts, and train volunteers to operate audio, video, lighting, and playback systems with confidence.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of AVL signal flow, routing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting AVL systems in live environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot effectively in live services and events.

Responsibilities

• Build + Deploy Systems: Design, configure, and deploy AVL infrastructure across campuses, including audio, video, lighting, networking, and playback.
• Keep Systems Stable: Maintain and support existing AVL systems across campuses; repair and replace components; own preventative maintenance routines.
• Troubleshoot Like a Pro: Respond to AVL helpdesk tickets, diagnose and resolve routing, patching, networking, hardware, and software issues.
• Train + Build Volunteer Teams: Train volunteer AVL teams, create repeatable training processes, and develop volunteer leaders.
