Job summary

Liquid Church is seeking a Technology Director to lead a growing AVL and broadcast team across New Jersey campuses. This full-time role oversees a two-person technology team and partners with pastoral and worship leaders to deliver distraction-free worship through reliable systems.

You will design scalable technology architectures, mentor volunteers, manage maintenance plans, and plan campus expansions while staying aligned with Liquid’s vision and mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with professional AVL systems in live production.
• Experience in church production or multisite ministry preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Commitment to worship and ministry alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technology team, including AVL technicians and engineers, ensuring reliability and excellence across campuses.
• Collaborate with Worship and Experience teams to align technology with ministry vision and events.
• Develop and implement long-term AVL and broadcast system strategies for scalable growth.
• Oversee maintenance, training, and onboarding of campus production volunteers and staff.
• Manage budget and vendor relationships to support upgrades and expansions.
