Job summary

StandardAero in Augusta, GA is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician II to support the Service side of our Airframe MRO operations. In this hands-on role, you will perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair work on complex avionics systems to keep aircraft flight-ready and ensure client confidence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Avionics experience.
• Experience troubleshooting avionics systems on corporate/business aircraft platforms.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States, without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex avionics system issues across comms, navigation, and flight controls.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and STC instructions to isolate faults.
• Perform on-aircraft troubleshooting, functional checks, and system testing.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, and other departments to resolve unique system discrepancies or modification challenges.
• Repair or replace defective wiring, components, LRUs, connectors, or antennas to restore full operational capability.
• Utilize OEM manuals, IPCs, AMMs, and FAA guidance to ensure repairs and alterations are in full regulatory compliance.
• Assist with ramp service troubleshooting events and support AOG response efforts as needed.
• Complete all required documentation in accordance with FAA regulations and StandardAero’s quality standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, cleanliness, and FOD prevention practices on the hangar floor.
