Job summary

StandardAero in Augusta, GA is seeking an Avionics Installer to install, align, and wire electrical and electronic components across corporate aircraft models. You will follow OEM wiring diagrams and engineering guidance to ensure compliant, high-quality installations.

The role requires 3+ years in avionics installation on fixed-wing aircraft, with 1+ year on corporate aircraft, and a high school diploma or equivalent. FAA A&P or FCC licenses are preferred. Relocation bonuses may be offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Avionics Installation experience on fixed-wing aircraft.
• 1+ year of experience on corporate aircraft (e.g., Gulfstream, Hawker, Falcon, Embraer, Challenger).
• Experience adhering to electrical/electronic theories and wiring diagrams.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and wire instruments, sensors, radios, antennas, and related components.
• Determine best installation locations and methods using manuals and OEM diagrams.
• Fabricate wiring harnesses and connectors; perform wiring, splicing, and bench work.
• Perform continuity checks and assist in functional checks of aircraft systems.
• Collaborate with A&P Mechanics, Structural Techs, Inspectors, and Electricians to troubleshoot wiring.
• Adhere to shop, manufacturer, FAA ACs, and military standards.
