Job summary

Standard Aero, Inc. seeks an experienced Avionics Technician II to support the Service side of our Airframe MRO operations.

You will perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on complex avionics systems, keeping aircraft flight-ready and ensuring client confidence in every mission. You will diagnose complex issues, follow wiring diagrams and STC instructions, and perform on-aircraft testing while collaborating with engineering and planning to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on avionics experience with troubleshooting and service/repair focus
• Experience troubleshooting avionics systems on corporate/business aircraft platforms
• Maintenance experience with cabin connectivity systems and avionics products

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex avionics system issues across comms, nav, surveillance, cabin management and flight control systems
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and STC instructions to isolate faults and plan corrective actions
• Perform on-aircraft troubleshooting, functional checks, and system-level testing on corporate aircraft avionics and electrical systems
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, and other departments to resolve unique discrepancies or modification challenges
• Repair or replace defective wiring, components, LRUs, connectors, or antennas to restore operation
• Follow OEM manuals, IPCs, AMMs, and FAA guidance to ensure regulatory compliance
• Assist with ramp service troubleshooting events and support AOG responses
• Complete documentation per FAA regulations and StandardAero quality standards
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and FOD prevention on hangar floor
