Job summary

StandardAero is seeking an Avionics Technician II to install, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics/electronics systems in aircraft. The role involves wiring, harness fabrication, and close collaboration with customers to ensure timely, quality repairs.

Candidates should have formal avionics education and at least 2 years in the field, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with various tools. Travel to customer locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal avionics systems and/or electronics education/training.
• Minimum 2-year’s experiences in electronics and/or avionics in the aviation industry or military equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, stretch, and climb ladders.
• Must have the ability to think clearly, speak intelligibly on the telephone and in person.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, troubleshoots, and/or repairs electrical/avionics equipment and systems as described.
• Routes wire throughout aircraft and assists in wiring and installation.
• Performs tasks with minimal supervision.
• Communicates with customers regarding repair status and timelines.
• Ensures quality installations and on-time deliveries.
