Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC seeks a Senior Aircraft Avionics Technician to join a dynamic private aviation team. You will install, inspect, and repair avionics, troubleshoot systems, and work with a diverse fleet.

The role requires 5+ years of MRO experience on jet, turboprop, or piston aircraft, an A&P license preferred, and a strong ability to read blueprints. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • A&P license preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining jet, turboprop, or piston aircraft in an MRO setting.
  • Demonstrated experience with avionics systems and electrical repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation safety practices and avionics technology.

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, test, and repair avionics equipment including communication, navigation, and autopilot systems.
  • Troubleshoot avionics systems with precision.
  • Perform installations and modifications per manufacturer specs.
  • Conduct intricate soldering on electrical components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and manuals; document all maintenance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance team and mentor junior technicians.
