Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer – System Safety to lead safety activities for the Anthem Flight Deck system. You will develop safety requirements and drive analyses to ensure secure, reliable avionics across interfaces, with cross‑functional collaboration in a cutting‑edge environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 6+ years of system engineering and safety experience.
• Proficient in FHA/FTA/FMEA/CMA safety analyses and lifecycle safety activities.
• Experience with regulatory safety requirements and aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system safety requirements with traceability and verification.
• Support design/architecture to integrate safety early in development.
• Perform and support FHA, FTA, FMEA, CMA analyses.
• Contribute to system integration and address safety impacts across interfaces.
• Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, safety and certification teams.
• Support compliance with aerospace safety standards and regulatory guidance.
• Assist with technical documentation and certification artifacts per Honeywell processes.
