Leidos is seeking a Systems Integration & Avionics Engineer for the Huntsville, AL campus. You will support maintenance, integration, inspection, and troubleshooting of small airborne missiles, UAS, and payload effectors.

The role offers hands‑on work across avionics, integration, maintenance, and field operations in a prototype environment, with opportunities to influence production transition, tooling setup, and end‑user training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 8 years of related experience, or an Associate's/Bachelor's with fewer years.
• Experience in avionics maintenance, repair, and integration on UAS or missile systems.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, manuals and installation drawings.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate new solutions as part of a prototype design team.
• Integrate avionics, sensors, or control systems into UAS platforms with installation and testing.
• Perform maintenance, calibration, and testing of avionics/instrument systems.
• Lead on‑the‑job training for junior engineers or technicians.
