Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace Anthem seeks an Advanced Systems Engineer-Flight Deck Integration to design, develop, and integrate next‑gen avionics for fixed-wing and Urban Air Mobility platforms. You will participate across the system lifecycle, from definition to verification, supporting lab testing and on‑aircraft validation.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams, ensuring performance, reliability, and certification readiness as systems move from concept to flight.

Qualifications

• Experience across full avionics system lifecycle from definition to verification.
• Work on fixed-wing and Urban Air Mobility platforms.
• Experience with verification, validation, and testing in lab and on-aircraft environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis, authoring, decomposition, and verification/testing
• Define and maintain ICDs for avionics interfaces
• Integrate peripheral avionics equipment in a modular avionics environment
• Validate and verify peripheral systems using data collection tools (e.g., Datatrac)
• Troubleshoot laboratory and on aircraft system issues
• Test development software loads and interpret fault and event logs
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders
• Support project coordination and execution across teams
