Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, FL is seeking a Technical Project Manager to plan and monitor test campaigns for manufacturing and qualifying flight avionics hardware aboard the New Glenn program. You will work closely with engineers, TPMs, buyers, and support staff to ensure on-time execution and high-quality results.

You will apply technical leadership, a strong ownership mindset, and meticulous communication to drive safe, reliable spaceflight systems within a culture of safety and inclusion.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• 4+ years planning and managing projects/programs in a development environment.
• Experience with manufacturing rate management & improvement.
• Able to quickly build and navigate a professional network within the organization, interfacing with engineers, TPMs, test engineers, technicians, buyers, and other support personnel.
• Experience with P6 Primavera, MS Project, or similar scheduling software packages.
• Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Self-starter, strong bias for action and sense of ownership.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to balance technical, business, and organizational influences.
• Demonstrated history of independent work, foreseeing problems, delivering on commitments, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Support test campaigns of manufacturing and qualifying flight avionics hardware.
• Contribute to developing safe and robust avionics for the New Glenn launch vehicle.
• Lead and influence project decisions and schedules to meet high-level program deadlines.
• Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and factor these relationships into PM decisions and approaches.
