Job summary

SpektreWorks is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for unmanned aerial systems and related products. You will lead schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, and prototype bring-up, collaborating with mechanical, software, and flight ops teams to deliver reliable electronics for aerospace applications.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, hardware bring-up, and production transition, with a preference for candidates who have embedded software or firmware

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience taking PCB designs from schematic capture through layout and production release.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and lab equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface documentation.
• U.S. Government Security Clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and electronic systems for UAS platforms and related products.
• Develop circuit schematics and multilayer PCB layouts for digital, analog, power, and sensor applications.
• Prepare PCB manufacturing packages including Gerber files and BOMs.
• Ensure signal integrity, grounding, power distribution, and EMC best practices.
• Coordinate fabrication and assembly with internal teams and suppliers.
• Perform hardware bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting of PCB assemblies.
