Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Technical Specialist III for avionics packaging in the Greater Seattle area. You will design, develop, test electronics enclosures, create 3D CAD models, and lead design reviews for lunar missions.

Collaboration with Electrical, Systems, and Manufacturing teams is essential to ensure safety and reliability in spaceflight hardware. Minimum 4+ years in mechanical design, ASME Y14.5 GD&T knowledge, and Creo/Windchill experience are required.

Qualifications

• Familiar with drafting standards including ASME Y14.5.
• Experience designing mechanical parts, enclosures, fixtures.
• Strong ability to read and create CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test robust electronics enclosures and assemblies.
• Create 3D CAD models and assembly drawings.
• Lead design reviews and coordinate part procurement.
• Design test fixtures and fabrication tooling.
• Provide guidance for hardware installations.
