Blue Origin LLC is seeking a MK2 Avionics Motor Control Design Engineer III to contribute to the Lunar Permanence business unit focusing on developing advanced motor control systems. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and have over 5 years of experience in avionics design, power electronics, and mixed-signal circuit design. The role is based in Phoenix, AZ, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and impact in human spaceflight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical/avionics design.
• Understanding of power electronics hardware development.
• Experience with mixed-signal circuit design and part selection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver space-rated avionics sub-systems including all aspects of design and testing.
• Develop and manage high and low voltage avionics designs.
• Support design risk analyses and root-cause analysis of discrepancies.
