Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the Greater Seattle Area seeks an Avionics Integration Engineer III to lead cross-functional avionics studies and define interfaces for the Lunar Permanence program. You will manage requirements, ICDs, data budgets, and electrical architectures, working with NASA and partners to advance safe human spaceflight.

The role requires deep aerospace systems experience, strong communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full lifecycle avionics development including requirements, design, integration, test, and operations.
• Strong ability to define and manage communication protocols and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Act as negotiator between stakeholders to optimize spacecraft design.
• Lead avionics architecture studies, concept development, verification planning, and integration.
• Develop and manage avionics requirements, ICDs, data and communication budgets.
• Create electrical architecture diagrams and interface control documents.
• Coordinate constraints across disciplines and manage design changes.
• Lead sensor selection and end-to-end sensor error analysis.
• Develop tools for maintaining vehicle electrical configuration.
