Job summary

Reliable Robotics is seeking a Sr Electrical Design Engineer to lead hardware development for airborne and test platforms. You will design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies from circuit-board level to integrated systems, collaborating with electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing and test engineers.

The role requires a Bachelor's in electrical/computer engineering, 5+ years of hardware development experience, and proficiency with Altium Designer and SPICE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of full-lifecycle hardware development experience in a professional environment
• Experience developing and simulating complex and manufacturable PCB assemblies using Altium Designer and SPICE
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to diagnose, document, and solve electronic hardware problems

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies from circuit board to integrated systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional team of electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing and test engineers
• Drive hardware improvements through benchtop, environmental, and on-aircraft testing; perform root-cause investigations
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes through technical leadership
