Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Electrical Responsible Engineer III to lead end-to-end build, test, and delivery of avionics boxes for engine customers at the Engines business unit. The role emphasizes electrical design and analysis of circuitry inside the box, with close interaction across design, test engineering, technicians, and leadership.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in electronics hardware development, hands-on analog/digital design, and experience with full qualification

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in electronics hardware development and test.
• Hands-on experience with analog and digital circuit design, analysis, test, and debug.
• Experience taking electronics assemblies through full qualification (Shock, Vibration, Thermal, EMI).

Responsibilities

• Oversee build, test, qualification, and delivery of avionics boxes to engine customer.
• Troubleshoot, document, and disposition non-conformances during product lifecycle.
• Design & analyze circuitry inside avionics boxes (analog, digital, power, etc.).
• Track and maintain box & board configurations across builds and tests.
• Present program status and issues at reviews (MRB).
• Identify root cause failure modes using formal methodologies (fault tree).
• Interface with design, test, manufacturing, customers, and external board houses to push builds forward.
