Job summary

CS Group USA is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead avionics and embedded systems development programs for aerospace customers. You will serve as the primary interface to customers and internal leadership, guiding execution from initiation to delivery and certification.

The role requires independent operation, stakeholder management, and frequent customer interactions. Local candidates are preferred for onsite collaboration in CT, with a hybrid option available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Business, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering)
• 12+ years industry experience with 7+ years in formal leadership roles
• Experience in avionics and embedded systems development or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of EVM, Agile/Scrum, and Agile Product Owner/Master expectations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• U.S. citizenship required; willing to travel ~6–8 weeks per year

Responsibilities

• Lead avionics and embedded systems development programs from initiation through delivery and certification
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, engineering teams, and executives
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resource planning
• Drive program execution using EVM and agile/lean techniques
• Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Foster cross-functional collaboration among Systems, Software, Hardware, Test, and Certification teams
• Mentor junior and upcoming managers
• Support business development activities
