Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, seeks an Avionics/Electrical Technician 3 at the St. Louis facility. You will perform testing, repairs, and installations on avionics and electrical systems to ensure defect-free aircraft performance.

Role requires troubleshooting, proper documentation, and collaboration with peers to meet schedules. Minimum 5 years avionics/electrical experience with preference for A&P/FCC/NCATT certifications.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 years avionics/electrical experience; 2 years accredited aviation electronics schooling can offset two years of experience.
• A&P, FCC, or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and repairs of avionics/electronic aircraft systems to ensure defect-free operation (essential).
• Install and test electrical/avionics components per engineering specs and manuals.
• Troubleshoot systems and document results; maintain logs and paperwork.
• Repair or replace defective components and wiring with proper techniques (soldering, splicing).
• Coordinate with other disciplines and support engineering changes.
