Job summary

Gulfstream in Brunswick, GA seeks an avionics/electrical technician to perform tests, troubleshooting and repairs on aircraft systems to keep our airframes mission-ready. You will work with wiring diagrams and blueprints, installing and verifying components per engineering specs.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and 5 years in avionics/electrical fields; A&P, FCC or NCATT certification preferred. Multiple shifts available; G550 experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years experience in an avionics/electrical career field.
• A&P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates superior technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.
• Teaches installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per engineering specs.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations and conducts timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems.
• Repairs or replaces defective components and wiring to ensure defect-free installations.
