Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in St. Louis seeks an Avionics Electric Technician IV to lead testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics and aircraft systems. The role emphasizes applying engineering specs and maintaining safety and quality while training teammates to support schedule goals.

Qualified candidates have avionics experience and a preference for Gulfstream familiarity. A High School diploma or GED is required; A&P/FCC/NCATT preferred. Travel is up to 25% and full-time employment is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four (4) years related experience.
• A&P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates superior technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.
• Teaches installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per Engineering specs and manuals.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations; troubleshoots and teaches troubleshooting processes to provide timely repairs.
• Oversees repair and replacement of defective components and wiring to ensure conformity.
• Sets up test equipment and conducts functional/operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
