Skyryse in El Segundo, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Systems Integration Lab. You will own the development, testing, and integration of avionics and electromechanical systems, designing PCBA and wire harnesses, and leading verification from concept to qualification.

Collaborate with GNC, Perception, Systems, Software, and Flight Test teams to define interfaces, ensure safety and certification compliance, and lead design reviews.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in electronics design, testing, or system integration in aerospace or related industry.
• Experience taking PCBA designs from schematic through layout, bring-up, and validation.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, OrCAD).
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the Southern California area as required for testing and system integration.

Responsabilidades

• Design, troubleshoot, and debug PCBA from concept through validation.
• Develop design changes to PCBAs and lead detailed failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Design, fabricate, test, and validate complex wire harnesses and assemblies, including connector selection and installation.
• Author, maintain, and execute test and acceptance procedures for system validation and certification.
• Plan and conduct board-level and system-level testing, analyze test data, and present findings and recommendations to engineering teams.
• Oversee calibration, configuration control, and testing of electronic equipment within the lab environment.
• Drive avionics system integration and subsystem verification activities, ensuring compliance with safety/certification requirements.
• Plan and support qualification testing, including test setup, equipment checkout, and coordination with local Southern California test labs.
• Collaborate with GNC, Perception, Systems, Software, and Flight Test to define interfaces and robust system designs.
• Lead or present at design reviews, providing technical insight on system integration, safety, and performance.
