Job summary

Skyryse is seeking an Electrical Engineer in El Segundo, CA, to join the Systems Integration Lab. You will own the development, testing, and integration of advanced avionics and electromechanical systems, including PCBA design, wiring harnesses, and system-level verification.

This onsite role requires 4+ years in aerospace electronics, proficiency with Altium and OrCAD, and collaboration across GNC, Perception, Systems, Software, and Flight Test to ensure safety and certification compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 4+ years of experience in electronics design, testing, or system integration in aerospace or related industries.
• Experience taking PCBA designs from schematic through layout, bring-up, and validation.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, OrCAD).
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, troubleshoot, and debug PCBA from concept through validation.
• Develop and implement PCBAs changes; lead root cause investigations at board and subsystem level.
• Design, fabricate, test, and validate complex wire harnesses and assemblies.
• Author, maintain, and execute test and acceptance procedures for system validation and certification.
• Plan and conduct board-level and system-level testing; analyze data and present findings.
• Oversee calibration, configuration control, and testing of lab equipment to ensure compliance.
• Drive avionics system integration and subsystem verification; ensure safety compliance.
• Plan and support qualification testing with labs and testing partners.
• Collaborate with GNC, Perception, Systems, Software, and Flight Test to define interfaces.
• Lead or present design reviews with technical insight on integration, safety, and performance.
