Job summary

Skyryse seeks a Senior Systems Test Engineer to contribute to the development of test equipment and validation of complex aerospace systems at our El Segundo, CA site. You will verify, test, and integrate avionics systems, collaborate with design and flight teams, and ensure lab assets are properly configured and traceable throughout the program lifecycle.

The role emphasizes test procedure development, BOM management, environmental and EMI/EMC testing, and root-cause analysis for integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Mechanical or Electronics engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of technical avionics experience.
• Master’s degree in Systems, Mechanical or Electronics engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support avionics systems test activities in a high-tempo environment.
• Develop, implement, and maintain test procedures, setups, and documentation.
• Conduct system-level integration in SIL with configuration control and traceability.
• Collaborate with engineers to design, integrate, and troubleshoot harnesses and wiring.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs for test articles and lab assets.
• Coordinate supplier activities related to environmental and EMI/EMC testing.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and testing.
• Identify and document test anomalies and support corrective actions.
