Job summary

Blue Origin in Washington state seeks an experienced avionics test engineer within the ACP organization. You will test and troubleshoot avionics, manage data acquisition, and ensure readiness of test systems for engine development and validation.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in electrical/electro-mechanical testing, strong schematic interpretation, and familiarity with EMI/EMC tests and relevant standards. Competitive benefits and opportunities to advance in spaceflight.

Qualifications

Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology or equivalent required.
8+ years in electrical/electro-mechanical assemblies and testing environment.
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly procedures.
Proficient with standard electronic lab test equipment and troubleshooting.
Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.
Desire for continuous improvement and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Set up, integrate, and review avionics tests including EMI and environmental campaigns.
Coordinate with technicians for campaign execution and data collection.
Support development with open box testing and card-to-card verification.
Checkout and troubleshoot electronic assemblies and test equipment.
Create, review, and release test work orders and reports.
Configure data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
Analyze test data and disposition anomalies with cross-functional teams.
Maintain calibration, facility readiness, and quality-system compliance.
