Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Sr. Technical Specialist in the Greater Seattle area to lead avionics and control product testing.

You will set up and execute tests, troubleshoot electronic assemblies, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, repeatable test results. The role requires hands-on experience with electrical/electro-mechanical assemblies, schematics interpretation, and data acquisition systems.

Qualifications

• 2 year Associates degree in electrical or electronic engineering technology.
• 8+ years of industry experience with electrical/electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and written assembly procedures.
• Proficient in the use of standard electronic lab test and troubleshooting equipment.
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention-to-detail, and desire for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the setup, integration, execution, and review of avionics tests, including shock, vibration, thermal, and EMI campaigns.
• Coordinate with technicians for the execution of these campaigns.
• Support a development environment with open box testing and card to card level testing.
• Perform checkout and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies and test equipment.
• Create, review, and release test work orders.
• Configure and operate data acquisition systems, and associated instrumentation.
• Analyze test data, generate test reports, and disposition anomalies in collaboration with design, test, and quality engineering.
• Maintain test equipment calibration, facility readiness, and compliance with AS9100 and internal quality management system requirements.
