Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation seeks a Project Manager to provide technical leadership across programs with DoD contracts. You will oversee cost, quality, and schedule, coordinating multiple departments to deliver required deliverables within constraints, while managing risks and changes.

The role requires 5+ years in project management for government contracts and familiarity with FAR/DFAR regulations. A Secret or higher clearance is preferred; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited college.
• 4-6 years' experience with aviation projects.
• 5 years' experience in Project Management in government contracting.
• Experience interpreting government RFPs and statements of work.
• Active Secret or higher security clearance desired or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to ensure cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
• Coordinate functional departments to meet contract and SOW requirements.
• Lead integration activities and manage project communications with customers.
• Develop and control budgets, resources, and deadlines.
• Review and approve project schedules and deliverables.
• Monitor project performance and report progress to leadership.
• Apply FAR/DFAR knowledge and manage risks and changes as needed.
• Mentor and coach junior staff as assigned.
