Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation seeks an experienced engineer with a strong aviation integration and project management background to lead multiple projects, including government contracts. The role will determine level based on experience and involves coordinating engineering efforts, managing scope and budgets, and delivering timely estimates.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in engineering, 3+ years in aviation integration, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of aviation integration experience, preferably with government contracts.
  • PMP certification is a significant plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective in multi-project environments.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and ability to perform technical drawing reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering efforts across multiple projects and ensure integration of aviation systems.
  • Maintain project scope and budget per SOW and customer requirements.
  • Identify, assess and manage project risks with proactive mitigation.
  • Provide accurate estimates to completion for ongoing projects and adhere to timelines.
  • Prioritize tasks based on urgency, importance, and resources; participate in technical reviews.
  • Develop ROM and BOE documents with cross-functional teams; communicate with customers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct technical drawing reviews to support project development and documentation.
