Tyonek Native Corporation seeks a Project Manager to provide technical leadership across programs with DoD contracts. You will oversee cost, quality, and schedule, coordinating multiple departments to deliver required deliverables within constraints, while managing risks and changes.
The role requires 5+ years in project management for government contracts and familiarity with FAR/DFAR regulations. A Secret or higher clearance is preferred; strong leadership and communication are essential.
The Project Manager is responsible for the technical leadership to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations including cost, quality, and schedules while maintaining company objectives. Responsible for leading teams to deliver results that span across all aspects of programs that are of strategic importance to the mission of the company. The Project Manager ensures that projects and Task Orders within programs produce the required deliverables within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits as defined by the Senior Program Manager. Contributes to corporate and program process improvement initiatives as it relates to improvement of the Quality Management System and adheres to quality and production control guidelines throughout the life cycle of the program. This includes management of issues, risks, and change requests to ensure successful and on-time CDRL delivery. Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. May act as a lead or first-level supervisor.
