AECOM is seeking a dynamic Senior Aviation Project Manager based in Atlanta to lead the region’s aviation practice, drive strategic growth, and strengthen client relationships.

In this leadership role, you will oversee planning, design, coordination, and construction of airport infrastructure projects, mentor staff, and serve as a Client Account Manager to expand opportunities. The role offers opportunities to deliver technical leadership and collaborate with national teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Ten or more years of project management and leading teams in the aviation market sector.
• US Citizenship required due to the projects associated with this position.
• Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for airport development projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, terminals, and related facilities.
• Provide technical leadership within the civil aviation engineering group.
• Plan and oversee design activities (airfield layout, drainage, pavement design, stormwater).
• Mentor staff and foster teamwork and growth.
• Coordinate with clients, FAA, and other stakeholders; manage cost, scope, schedule, and quality.
