Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior A/E Project Manager in Seattle, WA to oversee aviation sector projects and related municipal, public and private work. The role requires leading design teams, collaborating with clients, and driving project success across multiple disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering with 6+ years' experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to guide projects from capture through execution and closeout.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering and +6 years of experience with an architectural or engineering firm.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with client-facing experience.
• Proven ability to manage multi-discipline design projects and coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead client management and represent the firm in client discussions.
• Collaborate with capture managers to pursue new work.
• Create detailed project plans including scope, schedules, and staffing.
• Monitor project progress through life cycle from capture to closeout.
• Direct professional staff and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Understand contract terms and ensure adherence and documentation.
• Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate internal resources and subcontractors for project delivery.
• Travel as needed for project needs (less than 5%).
